Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and business customers along assigned routes
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customer mailboxes and collection boxes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequence and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic laws
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report unusual conditions
- Perform routine maintenance on delivery equipment
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry mail sacks weighing up to 70 pounds
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
