Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and business addresses
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for daily route assignments
- Operate delivery vehicles and maintain proper vehicle maintenance records
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve delivery inquiries
- Adhere to strict delivery time standards and safety protocols
- Manage delivery route documentation and customer signatures
- Report irregularities in mail delivery or suspicious activity
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Availability to work in all weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for package tracking systems
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk 5-8 hours daily on varied terrain
