Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely in various weather conditions
- Collect mail from boxes and post offices
- Provide excellent customer service to patrons
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with mail processing duties as needed
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid Alaska driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Availability to work Monday-Saturday with early morning shifts
- Strong physical stamina for walking and standing for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (cold temperatures, snow)
