Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to USPS regulations
- Collect mail from customers and businesses along designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues
- Provide excellent customer service during interactions at homes and businesses
- Operate automated delivery equipment and handheld scanning devices
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery while maintaining route efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper lifting techniques
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Basic computer literacy for operating USPS technology
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
