Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort and organize mail efficiently for timely delivery
- Operate delivery vehicles safely following all traffic laws and USPS protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Load/unload mail from vehicles and manage postal equipment
- Work in various weather conditions to ensure on-time delivery
- Adhere to USPS safety standards and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with valid work authorization
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 70 lbs)
- Basic computer skills for tracking and reporting systems
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods in outdoor conditions
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be available for flexible scheduling including weekends
