Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort, sequence, and organize mail according to delivery schedules and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Collect outgoing mail and parcels from customers along the delivery route
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities or issues
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and procedures for mail handling and delivery
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident alien status
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Physical capability to lift up to 35 pounds and walk extended distances
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, including early morning shifts
- Basic computer literacy for reporting and tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to punctuality
