Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and prepare mail in sequence for efficient delivery operations
- Operate USPS vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Interact with customers professionally while providing exceptional service
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report discrepancies
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and security procedures
- Perform route adjustments during peak seasons or staffing changes
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry mail sacks weighing up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and climb stairs
