Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail/packages along assigned routes using USPS vehicles
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and adhere to traffic regulations
- Collect mail from boxes and businesses along delivery routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer service interactions
- Operate scanners and handheld devices for package tracking
- Work in all weather conditions and lift heavy loads (up to 35 lbs)
- Complete daily route documentation and performance reports
Qualifications
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to walk routes and lift 35+ lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for package scanning systems
- Reliable transportation to/from work location
- Flexible availability for early morning shifts (4:00 AM start)
- No prior USPS experience required
