Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Sort and prepare mail efficiently according to USPS standards
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and maintain route integrity
- Collect payments for postage and services
- Report delivery issues and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service to community members
- Adhere to all USPS safety and security protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Valid state driver's license (minimum 2 years experience)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from work location
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
