Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare mail for efficient daily delivery
- Operate postal vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at residences and businesses
- Perform light maintenance on delivery equipment and vehicles
- Adhere to strict USPS policies for security and confidentiality
- Collaborate with postal team members to maintain route efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical assessment
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to and from the post office
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and organizational skills
