Responsibilities
- Sort and Process Mail: Efficiently sort incoming mail and packages to ensure timely delivery.
- Deliver Mail: Transport mail and packages along designated routes, regardless of weather conditions.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and handle complaints with a positive attitude.
- Collection Box Service: Collect and process mail from collection boxes throughout the assigned area.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain mail processing vehicles and machinery.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and service requests.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and interpret maps.
