Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability claims with 99% accuracy
- Review medical records and supporting documentation for completeness
- Utilize VBMS (Veterans Benefits Management System) for case management
- Communicate claim status updates to veterans and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with 38 CFR regulations and VA directives
- Collaborate with medical professionals for additional evidence requests
- Maintain secure documentation in accordance with federal guidelines
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years claims processing or administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Strong attention to detail with error rate <1%
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- VA experience or knowledge of federal benefits systems preferred
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week with flexible scheduling
