Responsibilities
- Process and adjudicate veterans' disability compensation claims with precision and compassion
- Review medical records and service documentation to determine eligibility for benefits
- Provide clear guidance to veterans and their families regarding benefit entitlements
- Collaborate with medical and legal teams to resolve complex case issues
- Maintain accurate case documentation and compliance with federal regulations
- Conduct quality reviews of completed claims to ensure accuracy
- Participate in continuous training on VA policies and procedural updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of claims processing or customer service experience
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and policies
- Proficiency in case management software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Experience with veterans' affairs or government systems preferred
