- Manage and optimize Veterans Health Information Systems (VistA) infrastructure
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran health data

- Train healthcare providers on electronic health record systems
- Coordinate system upgrades and compliance with federal regulations
- Develop disaster recovery plans for critical IT systems

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with healthcare IT systems (EHR/EMR)
- Federal IT security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
- Experience with VistA or similar VA health information systems
- Knowledge of HIPAA and HITECH compliance requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
