Responsibilities
- Evaluate and process veterans' benefit claims with 98% accuracy
- Provide expert guidance on VA healthcare, education, and disability programs
- Conduct thorough interviews and document case histories
- Collaborate with medical/legal professionals for complex cases
- Represent the VA at community outreach events
- Maintain strict compliance with federal regulations
- Utilize VA systems for claims processing and case management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in benefits administration or customer service
- VA Form 10-2850c application submission
- Background investigation and security clearance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Knowledge of Title 38 U.S. Code regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
