Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and ensure facility security during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular perimeter checks and security inspections
- Process inmate intake and release procedures
- Respond to emergencies and incidents per protocol
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during operations
- Enforce facility rules and inmate discipline
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- T Peace Officer License (TCLEOSE certification)
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year security/corrections experience
- Ability to work flexible weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing
