Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and maintain security protocols during weekend shifts
- Conduct regular facility inspections and perimeter checks
- Enforce institutional rules and respond to incidents professionally

- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when needed
- Collaborate with law enforcement and medical staff during emergencies
- Participate in weekend rehabilitation programs and inmate counseling
- Ensure compliance with state and federal correctional standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid Texas driver's license
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification preferred
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Physical ability to handle emergency situations and stand for extended periods
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or corrections preferred
