Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise inmate activities during weekend shifts to maintain facility security
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of correctional premises
- Respond to emergencies and incidents following established protocols
- Document daily activities and incidents accurately in digital systems
- Transport inmates between facilities as required
- Enforce institutional rules and regulations consistently
- Participate in mandatory safety and compliance training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Must be available for weekend and holiday shifts
- Basic CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work in a secure environment with strict protocols
