Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Provide a welcoming and professional front-desk experience for all visitors, residents, and staff entering the facility on weekends.
- Information Management: Answer high-volume phone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate departments with accuracy and empathy.
- Service Delivery: Process applications, verify documents, and assist residents with accessing government programs and services.
- Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints or concerns calmly and efficiently, escalating complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, update databases, and ensure filing systems are organized and up-to-date.
- Facility Maintenance: Monitor the facility’s security, cleanliness, and safety during operating hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year of customer service or administrative experience in a government or corporate setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays as required by departmental needs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a diverse population.
- Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new database software.
- Professionalism: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict government protocols.
