Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize official county records in compliance with state/federal regulations
- Process public records requests with accuracy and timeliness
- Digitize physical records using specialized county software systems
- Verify document authenticity and completeness before archiving
- Collaborate with weekday team members for seamless record management
- Prepare detailed audit reports for quarterly compliance reviews
- Train on new record-keeping technologies and protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years records management or administrative experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Knowledge of California Public Records Act (CPRA) requirements
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail with error-free documentation
- Valid California Driver's License (for occasional record retrieval)
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
