Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure facility entrances and perimeter areas to ensure the safety of all personnel and visitors.
- Perform routine inspections of government buildings and grounds to identify maintenance needs or security vulnerabilities.
- Process incoming mail, packages, and administrative documents with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist the public and staff with inquiries during weekend hours, providing exceptional customer service.
- Conduct security patrols and log all activities, incidents, and observations in the official logbook.
- Operate standard office equipment and security systems, including cameras and access control panels.
- Collaborate with day-shift supervisors to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities and information.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or possess valid legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays, on a rotating schedule.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; prior experience in government, security, or administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Basic computer literacy and typing skills.
