Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend municipal operations including facility management and emergency response coordination
- Supervise 5-7 personnel across sanitation, parks, and public safety departments
- Enforce city ordinances and safety protocols during off-peak hours
- Prepare shift reports and maintain compliance with state/federal regulations
- Coordinate cross-departmental resource allocation for weekend projects
- Act as primary liaison for weekend public inquiries and incident management
- Conduct weekly staff training on updated procedures and technologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years government/public sector management experience
- Illinois state residency required at time of hire
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 30-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and municipal reporting systems
- Emergency response certification (EMT/Fire preferred)
- Ability to work flexible weekends including holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
