Responsibilities
- Manage weekend citizen service inquiries via phone, email, and in-person channels
- Process vital permits, licenses, and administrative documents with precision
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during weekend operational hours
- Prepare and distribute weekend activity reports to department leadership
- Maintain strict compliance with municipal regulations and data privacy standards
- Support cross-departmental weekend initiatives including public events and maintenance
- Train and mentor weekend support staff on city procedures and technologies
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of government or public sector experience
- Proficiency with municipal software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to alternate weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and holidays
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background clearance
