Responsibilities
- Manage Weekend Operations: Oversee daily administrative functions and operational workflows during weekend shifts to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Public Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, answering inquiries and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Data Management: Maintain and update accurate records, databases, and digital files using government-standard software and protocols.
- Report Generation: Compile weekly performance reports and activity logs to assist supervisors in evaluating departmental efficiency.
- Facility Coordination: Monitor facility access, security protocols, and physical maintenance needs during non-business hours.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with weekday staff and management to ensure continuity of operations and address urgent issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or related field is a plus.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts consistently (Saturday and Sunday).
- Experience: Previous experience in a government office, customer service, or administrative support role is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer navigation.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry and document management.
