- Process and catalog public records requests with precision and confidentiality
- Manage digital and physical document archives using specialized government software
- Provide in-person and phone support to citizens during weekend hours
- Ensure compliance with Public Records Act (RCW 42.56) and retention policies
- Collaborate with department heads on records management improvements
- Generate monthly compliance reports for audit purposes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 2+ years experience in records management or government operations
- Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (8am-5pm)
- US citizenship or legal resident status required for government clearance
