We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient professional to join our team as a Weekend Shift Specialist for the State of Indiana. This role is essential to maintaining the continuity of our public services, ensuring that critical government operations run smoothly during off-peak hours. Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor state server infrastructure and databases during weekend operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide direct technical support to state employees and citizens via phone and email during weekend service hours.
- Perform rigorous data entry, verification, and archiving of sensitive public records.
- Execute routine security patches and system updates outside of peak business hours.
- Collaborate with the weekday operations team to document issues and escalate critical incidents.
- Conduct audits of digital access logs to ensure compliance with state security protocols.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Public Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support or data entry role within a government or corporate environment.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Ability to obtain a State of Indiana security clearance (fingerprinting and background check required).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
