Responsibilities
- Monitor park grounds, trails, and facilities to ensure visitor safety and environmental protection
- Conduct interpretive programs and educational workshops for diverse visitor groups
- Enforce park regulations and provide visitor assistance during peak weekend operations
- Perform routine maintenance, habitat restoration, and wildlife monitoring duties
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergency response situations
- Document park activities, wildlife sightings, and visitor statistics
- Maintain accurate records of resource management and conservation efforts
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years outdoor recreation or park experience
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
- Basic knowledge of Tennessee wildlife, flora, and safety protocols
- Ability to work weekends and holidays in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening per state requirements
