As a key member of our Innovation Division, you'll work alongside Nobel laureates, AI pioneers, and sustainability experts to develop frameworks for quantum-integrated systems, autonomous ecosystems, and human-centric AI. Our Austin headquarters offers state-of-the-art labs and a culture that celebrates boundary-pushing thinking.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech convergence (quantum computing, bio-digital interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional think tanks with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Produce horizon-scanning reports identifying disruptive innovations by 2026
- Architect ethical frameworks for next-gen autonomous systems
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and venture partners
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University affiliates
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight or emerging tech strategy
- Published work on technology convergence scenarios (2025-2030)
- Expertise in scenario planning and systems modeling
- Experience with quantum computing or synthetic biology ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused product launches
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation bodies
