Responsibilities

- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4.0, AGI ethics, bio-digital convergence) for strategic integration
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term corporate vision and ESG goals
- Secure and manage $10M+ annual R&D budgets for experimental projects
- Represent the company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, Davos) as a thought leader
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies with 12+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (minimum 3 exits or product launches)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI frameworks
- Deep understanding of technological singularity implications and ethical governance frameworks
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature Futures, MIT Technology Review)
- Proficiency in futures research tools (scenario planning, Delphi methods, technology roadmapping)
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical, executive, and investor audiences
