Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps by analyzing converging trends in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough solutions for human augmentation challenges
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interface technologies
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive opportunities in sustainable tech ecosystems
- Present strategic foresight findings to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Manage incubation of experimental projects in our Austin FutureLab facility
- Guide organizations through digital transformation pivots aligned with 2026 societal shifts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or emerging tech disruptors
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products/services with market validation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex scenarios into actionable strategies
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend forecasting tools
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation management
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent credential
