Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, bio-convergence) to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop and maintain Horizon's Future Intelligence Framework using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype breakthrough products/services
- Present strategic foresight briefings to executive leadership and board members
- Build and manage an external futurist network including academics, startups, and think tanks
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging paradigms
- Integrate future-proofing principles into corporate strategy and decision-making
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in trend analysis, horizon scanning, and scenario development
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or innovation roadmaps
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
