Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and human-computer interaction
- Develop and maintain scenario models for disruptive futures with quantifiable impact assessments
- Design innovation frameworks to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Present future outlooks to executive stakeholders and investor forums
- Build and lead a cross-functional foresight task force
- Author thought leadership pieces published in industry journals and conferences
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions based on emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on technological or societal forecasting (peer-reviewed articles, books)
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience translating foresight into commercial applications
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their convergence
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse technical/non-technical audiences
- Portfolio of future scenarios implemented by Fortune 500 clients
