Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and climate tech verticals
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging global trends (metaverse, Web3, autonomous systems)
- Lead strategic innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Translate foresight insights into product development pipelines
- Author quarterly trend briefs for executive stakeholders
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental projects
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist conferences (e.g., Davos, Singularity Summit)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation roles
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (e.g., TechCrunch, WIRED)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
