Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to build 2026 strategic scenarios
- Develop quantitative and qualitative frameworks for forecasting adoption curves of emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Author annual 'Future Horizons' report for executive board and investor presentations
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry think tanks
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy at Fortune 500 level
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning techniques
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech strategy (white papers, journals, conferences)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis platforms
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
