Responsibilities
- Forecast technology and market trends through 2026+ using AI-driven analytics and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-gen products in quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align engineering, design, and business teams on future vision
- Produce trend reports and white papers published in industry-leading journals
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Mentor junior futurists and establish departmental forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused tech leadership
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products or policies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning software)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging technology domains
