Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends with 5-10 year impact
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global megatrends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategies
- Author thought leadership publications for C-suite audiences
- Advise executive team on long-term R&D portfolio allocation
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on future-proofing initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of predicting major technological disruptions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures journals
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complexity into clarity
