Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Produce scenario-planning models for market disruption and regulatory shifts
- Design innovation pipelines aligning with long-term organizational vision
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track implementation progress
- Build an internal futurist network to disseminate foresight insights
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Published thought leadership on long-term trend forecasting
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
