Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, social, and economic megatrends to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare the organization for future disruptions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs for trend validation
- Create 5-year technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
- Present quarterly trend reports to stakeholders with actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of publishing trend analyses in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI ethics, quantum computing, bio-digital convergence
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
