Your insights will directly shape multi-billion dollar investment decisions and R&D roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum AI, neurotech, climate engineering) with 2026 market impact
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients anticipating 2026 societal and industrial disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops integrating futurism principles into product roadmaps
- Author quarterly trend briefings distributed to executive leadership boards
- Build predictive models using alternative data sources (satellite imagery, patent analytics, dark web monitoring)
- Represent the firm at global innovation forums (Web Summit, TechCrunch Disrupt)
- Mentor junior futurists on methodology and stakeholder communication
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 7+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of influencing C-suite decisions through trend-based recommendations
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Published author or keynote speaker on technology forecasting topics
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and predictive modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020-2025 trend predictions
- Deep network within DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
