Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, emerging technologies, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion aligned with future scenarios
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities and business opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor competitive intelligence and regulatory developments affecting long-term strategy
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACFC or Foresight Practitioner Program)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic foresight projects
