As a key member of our Future Horizons division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D teams, and industry partners to translate futuristic concepts into actionable strategies. You'll have the opportunity to influence multi-million dollar investments in breakthrough technologies while mentoring the next generation of innovators.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and forecast their business impact through 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term company objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across product development cycles
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory implications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences
- Certification in Futurism or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP, CFP) preferred
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
