Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Architect strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and neuro-interfaces
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with long-term business vision
- Present future scenarios to board members and key stakeholders at quarterly innovation forums
- Manage a $15M R&D budget for experimental projects with 5-year ROI horizons
- Author thought leadership pieces published in MIT Tech Review and Nature Futures
- Mentor emerging futurists through our 2026 Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation or emerging technology with proven 10-year foresight track record
- PhD in Computational Physics, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or human-AI symbiosis
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Portfolio of deployed innovations generating >$50M annual revenue
- Deep expertise in at least two of: neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized networks
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
