This role blends cutting-edge technology forecasting with human-centered design to create actionable roadmaps for tomorrow's challenges. You'll lead cross-functional teams to develop scalable frameworks for AI ethics, sustainable tech integration, and next-generation user experiences.

Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption (quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on 2026 technology milestones
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and competitive threats
- Create scenario-planning models for geopolitical and climate-change impacts on tech ecosystems
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience with technology forecasting and scenario modeling
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on long-term tech trends (e.g., IEEE, HBR)
- Experience with agile methodologies and portfolio management
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills (Tableau/Power BI)
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Planning preferred
