Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for 2026-era applications in cryptography, drug discovery, and AI optimization
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid systems with 100+ qubit processors
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech researchers on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Symposium 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum circuit design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Track record of securing $1M+ quantum computing grants
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
