Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks using quantitative data and qualitative insights
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with scenario planning and risk assessments
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and business strategy
- Build and maintain a network of domain experts and thought leaders across industries
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor and analyze geopolitical, economic, and environmental megatrends
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and forecasting methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical modeling
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight projects
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
