Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, economic, and social disruptions
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to guide R&D investments and market positioning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future scenarios into corporate strategy
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and global thought leaders
- Produce actionable whitepapers and roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, climate tech, neuro interfaces)
- Mentor cross-functional teams in strategic foresight methodologies
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and megatrend analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience working with Fortune 500 companies on transformational initiatives
