Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, neural interfaces) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-generation solutions
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive patent strategy for future-facing intellectual property portfolios
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, or AI ethics
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (white papers, patents, keynotes)
- Advanced degree in STEM field or equivalent innovation credentials
- Experience building and scaling high-impact innovation teams
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making framework
