Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to department heads and staff
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Prepare, edit, and distribute official correspondence and documents
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems
- Process and track departmental budgets and expenses
- Assist with public inquiries and provide courteous customer service
- Support special projects and event coordination as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Associate's degree or relevant coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or office experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of public sector operations preferred
- Must pass background check and drug screening
