Responsibilities
- Manage departmental calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating logistics for public works projects
- Process and maintain confidential documents, records, and reports in compliance with city regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, and procurement documentation
- Support data entry, report generation, and record-keeping using city systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Facilitate communication between department heads and external partners
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of administrative support experience in government or public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
