Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming mail, emails, and documents with high accuracy.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding permits, licenses, and department services.
- Perform data entry and maintain up-to-date digital and physical records.
- Coordinate internal schedules and assist with meeting arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute routine reports, memos, and correspondence.
- Support the department head with ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and attention to detail.
- Valid Texas driver's license is a plus.
